Seckford Care’s Gemma Bloomfield and Cassie Parratt named as Finalists in ‘The Women Achieving Greatness in Social Care Awards’

Seckford Care is delighted that Gemma Bloomfield, Director of Care, has been nominated as a Finalist in the ‘Wellbeing at Work’ category, and Cassie Parratt, Head of Care, has been named as a ‘Rising Star’ Finalist, in ‘The Women Achieving Greatness in Social Care Awards‘.

Gemma and Cassie will join other Finalists at the prestigious Gala Awards, being held on 28th November 2024 at The Hilton Bankside Hotel in London, where the category winners will be announced. The event will be co-hosted by Neev Spencer and Baroness Floella Benjamin.

Over 85% of the social care workforce made up of women, and many of these hardworking, talented, and dedicated individuals balance the demands of family life alongside their careers. ‘The Women Achieving Greatness in Social Care Awards’ was established to recognise and celebrate the remarkable contributions of female leaders across all roles and regions of the sector, whilst also creating a platform to uplift emerging stars and future leaders.

An esteemed panel of independent judges, led by Dr Cecilia Anim CBE – former President of the Royal College of Nursing, a champion for disability rights, and mother of a child with complex needs – will now face the challenging task of selecting this year’s winners.
