Assessments and Funding
Council Care-Needs Assessments
Council Care-Needs Assessments are free and available to everyone. They help you to establish your care needs and enable you to find out if you qualify for Council funding.
The Council will first assess your care needs and then calculate how much money you will need to meet those needs. When your Care-Needs Assessment is complete, the Council will (if you wish) assess your income and capital to see if you qualify for Council funding.
To arrange for a Care-Needs Assessment, contact Suffolk County Council’s Customer First Team on 0808 800 4005.
